Economist/Gender Equality Advocate
Lisa Kolovich is an economist at the International Monetary Fund and the team manager for gender research under a joint IMF-DFID collaboration that focuses on macroeconomic issues in low-income countries. Her current research examines gender budgeting initiatives as a tool for addressing gender inequalities, and she is a contributor to and the editor of the book, Fiscal Policies and Gender Equality. Before joining the IMF, Dr. Kolovich conducted program evaluations for the U.S. Department of Labor and has been a consultant for the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank.
